This was a Newsweek headline, but I have seen the word used on several websites and in the news a little bit lately. This is just an attempt by the mainstream media to cover their butts. Here is the deal on that as I see it.

The mainstream media wants Barack Hussein Obama to be president. They have done all in their power since Day One to make that happen. They have ignored facts for the most part. The only bad news they have reported for him lasts about a day. The media hammers the conservatives until it’s not funny anymore.

But as the election gets near they big media boys have to make sure their polls show about what actually going to happen. They would lose credibility if they did not. So, yes, the margin between Obama and McCain will tighten. But the whole idea of the media the whole time was to give Obama a big lead to try and sway the country. It might work this time.

But the big thing for the media is to be able to show they were credible after the election. McCain is not making any type of comeback. The polling is just being done in a more equitable manner as the election draws close.
