We might have to duck!
I am going to write just a bit about Hurricane Ike in this blog today. It’s not politics, but it’s still very newsworthy.
Hurricane Ike looks like it will get past Cuba and into the Gulf of Mexico. Then it will make a dash straight toward the south Texas coast. Corpus Christi looks to be in the path of the storm if the forecasters are correct. San Antonio will be on the east side of the storm and we should get a jolt. We shall have to see.
My wife will begin emergency preparations todays. She’s good at it all. We’ll need plenty of stuff like water, batteries, food and such. Of course, we will need dog and cat food. We have to be ready just in case. My babies have to be taken care of also.
So we might have a storm. We’ll have to keep tract of it all. I don’t wish a storm on anyone else so we’ll take whatever comes our way.
