Do you think we are going to hear some propaganda about the attack on 9-11 today? Both sides will come out firing in the deal. It will be hard to figure out who to listen to and what to think. There are some hard cold facts staring us in the face that we need to realize though.

We were attacked on many occasions before 9-11. Even the Twin Towers were attacked in the mid-90’s. We had embassies bombed. We had a warship bombed. And as a nation we pretty much sat back and did nothing. We were even offered Osama bin Laden, the terrorist who had done us much harm. We sat back and did not do one thing. That led to the bold attack on our soil.

Since that time we have had a rough time coming to grips with it all. We have not been attacked on our soil again. You have to give President Bush credit for that. There has been no talking with the bad guys, only killing on foreign and I appreciate that.

So with all the talk about it today let’s all count our blessings that we have not been attacked since those attacks, the fight is in faraway lands being fought by our military and we are diligently watching those who might do use harm.
