John McCain needs a VP. So why not pick Joe Lieberman. The names mentioned most often in the GOP ranks seem to be Tom Ridge and Mitt Romney. I just see either of them blowing anyone’s skirts up. They would be picked just to try and win either Pennsylvania or Michigan. I don’t think that’s wise in the long run.

Mr. Lieberman is probably just as conservative or maybe even more conservative than those two in my book. He’s surely a better man.

I think the GOP should take a serious look at Joe Lieberman. I’d love to see something against the grain in the pick for VP. The Republicans have been too staid and too stupid for a long time now. They have lost their grip on power and need to show me some grit to take it back. An unconventional choice for McCain’s running mate would be a grand start.
