I think this is pretty amusing. Israel seems to be in the last days of their offensive in Gaza. They will probably give it up in a few days and adhere to a truce or some kind of cease fire. I bet Hamas does not quit firing rockets into Israel! And I think the Israelis know and want just that exact thing to happen.

It’s like a woman finding a really nice guy to date. Most of the time they don’t want that! Then the girl has to start acting right and be nice and civil and do a lot of things she just does not want to do. Most women would rather date some kind of thug and ne’er-do-well. In that way they don’t have to act right!!

Israel wants to do the same thing. They have a chance to crush Hamas and put them out of business. They are going to bow to international demands since they are killing too many “civilians”! So what. In due time the fighting will go on as Hamas will continue to fire rockets and do whatever they can to destroy Israel. Of course, Hamas will sign and agree to any type of cease fire right now. They are getting their rear ends kicked. Israel is just like the old girl who wants a thug for a boyfriend. They don’t want peace. They want to fight, fight, fight. Just like Hamas.

Israel is going to lose this old boy as a supporter if they give up the fight now. When Hamas rockets begin to rain down on the Jewish state again I am going to think it’s very funny, and totally justified by Hamas. Israel, you have your chance to do Hamas in right now. Don’t quit before the job is finished.

Each day some kind of “Palestinian medical authority(ies)” tell us how many are dead in Gaza and how many “civilian” dead there are. We hear such reports from our big media as “910 Palestinians have been killed in the fighting with about half being ‘civilian’ deaths”. Well, let’s get onr thing straight; very few of these “civilian” deaths are actually “civilian” casualties.

When Hamas fires a rocket from the rooftop of a private home and Israel destroys the home and everything in it including 10 people, for example, those are war casualties, not “civilian” casualties. Hamas has used humans as shields as they fire rockets and such at Israel. Hamas stores weapons under homes, school, hospitals and other public places. Hamas builds tunnels under homes and whatever. When these are destroyed in the course of war it’s just a bad deal for the residents of Gaza, the Gazanian Strippers.

They Strippers thought it would be great to have Hamas in charge. Or at least that’s what the TV pictures showed. They danced in the streets and were just having a grand old party. They denounced Israel and the United States. They were just having fun. I guess they did not realize that they brought a heap of trouble on themselves. Hamas never stopped firing rockets at Israel and the Israelis finally got tired of it. Now, Hamas and Gaza is having it handed to them and rightfully so.

So if you believe the Gazanian Strippers, the media, Hamas, the Arab World and most of the idiots in Europe that along with many in this country that Israel is killing “civilians” you either got took again or you just don’t want to face the facts!! Grab some common sense and your life will be much better. More later!!

President-elect Obama’s guy to head the Treasury Department, and by default the IRS, has been caught with his pants down. He didn’t pay some income tax on some money he earned! Obama says it’s OK. Sure he would. Obama has done much worse in his political life. The Democrats are saying it’s OK. They all have done much worse. As usual, the Republicans are too wuss to do anything about it.

Of course, the guy paid the money back when it was found out he cheated. I’d like to ask him one question though. If he stole my car and got caught does he think he could just give it back and things would be fine? If he thought that were good then I think we should make that the law of the land for everyone; not just Democrats caught red-handed and wanting to just give back what they took and have it all be fine.

Also, don’t you try what Mr. Geithner did! The IRS would not deal with you quite as nicely.

The Democrats and Obama say that this should not stop the guy’s confirmation. Plus we need a Secretary of the Treasury quickly because of the debacle the money in our country is in. Well, did they not have any other name to consider besides Geithner? We can throw Geithner out and let the second place guy jump into the fray! I think Geithner should be discarded. He’s nothing but a crook.

But on second thought maybe he would be the guy to head the IRS. He sure knows how to cheat and that would be handy for the guy in charge of the IRS to know. Still, jettison the guy. Let’s get good honest people in government or least try to do so when we can!! More later!!

So President Obama wants to close Gitmo! Look at the article at the site listed above and tell me that seems like a good thing! I think it is not.

One of the guys we let go blew himself up in a “suicide”, I call them “homicide”, bombing in Iraq.

Maybe we should take a much closer look at who we have in Gitmo and think much more about letting them go! Keep them locked up Mr. President. Keep them locked up. I don’t even mind if we “torture” a bit! Barry Manilow’s music can come in handy for something!!

I really hate to write that, but watching his news conference yesterday and reflecting on his years in office I have to say it. The guy just has no clue. I don’t think we are going to get much better with Barack Obama, but he has not had a chance to do his thing yet.

I don’t think President Bush understands what a conservative is. He may be a Republican, but he is far from a conservative. I think that was one of his main problems. I also think Bush may be a Bilderberger in hiding.

Bush is also a big wuss. He never stood up to Congress or to anybody. Oh, he was tough on Iraq which we probably did not need to be. He was too easy on Afghanistan were we should have really done some damage.

Look, I am not going to sit here and write example after example of what I don’t like about President Bush and his 8 years in office. He was not treated right by the media which was probably his biggest battle in his term in office. I just don’t think the guy really had a good grasp on the job he was doing. He was bullheaded and stuck to his guns too long in too many instances. He was just not the best man I have ever seen as President.

I really hate to say all this. He will be on Larry King tonight and he will wuss out again. He should look King in the eye and just slam him and be as belligerent as he can be. But he will chicken out and be like a little lamb. Just fade into the sunset Mr. President. Just fade!!

President-elect Obama made the statement today that he want to close the prison at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba. He thinks this will be a good step for the country. I have to weigh in on this one.

It does not matter if we let all these guys go. The people in the world who love freedom and cherish it like we do in the United States will still like us. That’s not a whole lot of people in the world. The rest of the world will not like the United States nor President Obama if he lets all the terrorists go and cures baldness and cancer. And if you want to see what torture really is………..well, we don’t compare to everyone else. They are much better at it!!

In conflict prisoners are usually held until the end of hostilities.On several instances we have turned some of these terrorists loose and they have gone back and jumped in the battle again. So if we want to let them go before the conflict is over I think we are being very crazy. President Obama needs to make sure we don’t get caught with our pants down. We don’t need to be Willie-Hortoned!!

And if he is going to let these guys go I hope they go to where you live and not where I live or my family lives. You deal with them! I would tend to deal with them with a much heavier hand than we have already done. I don’t trust any of them and they need to stay locked up. So if you support President Obama on this one you should have no trouble jumping into Ol’ Rooster’s “Adopt-A-Terrorist” program. More on that one later!!

Ronald Reagan was an expert at it. Bill Clinton was not as good as Reagan, but he was pretty good also. Current President Bush has no idea how to do. I am talking about the ability to talk straight to the people to get what they want.

President-elect Obama is getting opposition to some of his plans in Congress. Some of the things he wants to do is going to run into problems in his own party. A lot of the things he wants to do will be stymied by the Republicans. What this means is that his programs and policies will take longer to enact, costing time, money, jobs and a whole lot more. He can skip some of that rancor and slowness by just bypassing Congress and going straight to the people.

The people of the U.S. can then put the pressure on Congress to do something. Reagan did this on occasion and it worked nicely. Clinton did also. I think Obama should try this and get his program on the fast track and leave Congress in his dust. More later!!

Hamas has vowed to wipe Israel off the map. They have also vowed to fight to the last “camel” to defeat Israel. Hamas has told the Israelis if they step one foot into Gaza it will be there graveyard! That sounds a little like Yosemite Sam to me or whatever really bad guy the Gazanian Strippers have.

I know one of the worries I have with President-elect Obama is that he wants to “talk” to groups such as Hamas. I know diplomacy is probably the way to go in most instances or at least try to talk with someone first. But that is not going to work with Hamas.

Hamas has no legal standing in the world community. People have given them that standing by talking with them. But they are just a bunch of terrorists and should not be included in any dialgoue unless they agree to act remotely civil. So no talking with them at all. I would agree Mr. Obama could go through intermediaries and contact them in that manner.

Before President Obama should even consider talking to Hamas they should be made to live without violence against Israel for a year or so. Not even one incident will be tolerated. Then maybe, just maybe, we should talk with them.

Israel is no angel in this either. They are almost as bad as Hamas for the most part. Israel would live in peace though if Hamas would not shoot at them. Israel has given up land in Gaza and made the necessary concessions on their part. It’s up to Hamas and the Gazanian Strippers to do their’s before any President of the U.S. should talk with them.

I don’t think any of this will ever happen. Hamas will never negotiate in good faith. So that pretty much negates ever having a lasting peace, or even truce, in the area. They have been fighting for 10,000 years though. I guess a few more won’t hurt, will it?

This is getting to be funnier and funnier by the minute. I wrote a blog yesterday about how Barack Hussein Obama does not a clue. And that is a clue about what he is doing. Remember, I voted for the guy. But I am so disappointed in the state of things right now.

You should see the comments I am getting. I’ll list a few:
“Dude, he’s not even President, yet!”
“Do you realize he’s not President yet?”
“Where has your head been?”

Well, somebody better stop Obama because he thinks he’s the President! I read numerous news articles this morning in the local paper and online and Obama is quoted in each and everyone. He’s talking with the Congress. He’s talk with the media. He’s giving us his nebulous ideas of what he thinks he wants to do. So if you some of you think that George Bush is still President and running things you better write to Obama and remind him of that! Don’t remind me!!

If Obama has all these plans why does he not come out and get the country on the right track. I mean the guy was a senator before he was President. He never laid out any of these plans in the form of legislation when he was in the Senate!!

If the guy knew how to get us out of this funk, as he told us he could while running for office, he could have been working on doing so since he was elected. In the time from when he elected to when he will be sworm in probably 1.2 million people or so will have lost their jobs. So you who support him are telling me instead of saving the jobs he’s waiting until he is elected to do so. You don’t think George Bush would have allowed him to push his plan? And it seems Obama’s been pushing his plan to the media and Congress. He just doesn’t have a clue on how to do anything.

That’s evident in the stock market. The stock market is not a today thing. It shows how things are going to be in the future. And the market has just been sitting there. Through all the announcements and pronouncements Obama had made the market is not buying any of it.

So, yes, Obama is the President right now. If he’s not, someone needs to tell him to shut up and wait until he’s sworn in. I really don’t think the guy has a clue as to what to do about anything. And it seems his supporters have less of a clue about things than he does. I am still thinking I got taken big time on this one. I thought the guy would have had things under control by now in the process. but he’s just grabbing at straws.

His plan only consists of broad ranges for things. Like his tax cut for individuals. It’s shown as between $500 and $1000. Give the Congress a figure and go with it. There are too many instances like that in his plan. I need hard and fast numbers to see so I will know what to support.

The longer it takes for the Congress and the President to get together the longer the time it will take for the country to recover. And the longer they will slow the process down. Many more people will lose jobs, homes and such. Come on Obama. Get a clue and get to it. To those who support him. Get a clue to start with. More later!!

Ok, I am pretty much going to have to admit I was taken. And I got took big time. I voted for Barack Hussein Obama. And I don’t think the guy has a clue as to what he is doing.

Yesterday he “warned” us about the economy as a headline read. Well, hello, this is why you got elected! I thought you had a plan for it all. That’s what you told me all along. And here it is several weeks before the guy takes over and all he had done is given us some broad nebulous ideas of what he wants to do. We need specifics. And I mean real, hard, solid specific things that we can take to the bank. I understand the Congress can change all the President wants to do, but Obama has not laid out any solid things we can take off from. It’s just all ideas!!

We don’t know the size of any stimulus package even! How much are our checks going to go up? Will we get a one-time rebate check like last time? How much are unemployment benefits going to go up?

I am very disturbed by it all. I really thought the guy had a plan that he would put into action. He’s had a long time to figure out what to do. But we still don’t have anything we can hang our hat on. Obama needs to talk to the American people and get very specific about his plans. If he would do the the country would get in a much better mood quickly. Right now, things keep getting worse because no one has any type of specific plan. All we hear are broad ideas.

And most of what we are hearing we have already tried and it did not work. For example, the tax cut or rebate or whatever you want to call it. Bush gave us all $600 and that did not work. So you would think we’d need much more. Well, Obama’s plan may give us $500! How is that going to work? Now, I know that is just an idea he has and not solid fact, but if he wants something like that to help out the figure is going to have to be much more than $600.

I am just not happy. It’s all just rhetoric. Obama needs to hit the ground running. He needs to walk in to Congress on the first day and say, “Here is my plan. See all the specifics. Debate the thing and lets get it going”. But we need to see some solid ideas. I don’t want nebulousity!! More later!!
